Who are we?
Twistarz Gymnastics Academy is an exciting gymnastics club in Brisbane.
We love our sport of gymnastics and we firmly believe that it should be accessible to all.
Our owners, coaches and staff are all passionate about the sport of gymnastics and the benefits it can bring to children and adults of all ages.
Twistarz Academy is the perfect location for you and your children to learn the power of movement and gymnastics as a stepping stone to all other sports.
Gymnastics at Twistarz
We care. Every child who attends our gymnastics classes is provided tailored training suitable to their needs and level.
The safety of every child who enters our gymnastics classes is paramount and we run classes suitable for children of all ages and abilities – from toddlers and school kids to competitive and elite gymnasts.
We pride ourselves on our communication with our gymnasts and parents. We understand the need to keep parents informed of every step of their child’s gymnastics.
Our Coaching Team
Our coaches love gymnastics and love coaching! They genuinely care and are experts in helping your child learn and develop with gymnastics. They are Gymnastics Australia, Blue Card and First Aid accredited.
Our Coaching team range from KinderGym to Advanced Silver/FIG 2 level Coaches.
We are always looking for amazing people and coaches to join our awesome team - so get in touch with us if you want to coach and work in a super positive environment.
Twistarz is proud to be a GQ Club
Twistarz is affiliated with Gymnastics Queensland. GQ Member Clubs are required to follow high standards. When you register your child at a GQ Member Club, you can have peace of mind that you are making the best choice for you and your child.
All GQ Member Clubs:
- Provide essential insurance coverage, including tried and tested Gymnastics Personal Accident Insurance*
- Incorporate child safeguarding policies and operating principles via Sport Integrity Australia*
- Host sanctioned events approved by Gymnastics Queensland that meet required safety standards*
- Employ Nationally Accredited Coaches, ensuring your child is being taught by the best*
- Conduct pre-employment screening checks before hiring staff*
- Allow eligibility to compete at State and National events*
- Have access to high-performance pathways and athlete selection, paving the way for international representation at prestigious events such as Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games*
*Not available at clubs who are not members of Gymnastics Queensland.
